Hmm about the tortoise color they offered in the past was it a premium item? I'm curious as they tend to sell higher than say the green versions in the old listing I saw.

Like everyone else, that light tortoise is taking my breath away. It is one of the most stunning pens I have ever seen... I wonder if I will ever have the chance to own one.

When I have a look at the "newly" made tortoise pens as the M101 tortoise and the M101 tortoise/red, I really doubt that a release of the 400 hellschildpatt (light tortoise) would be a good idea. It seems that it is quite difficult to find matching material in nice colors...

Oh yes he does!!! I believe some very nice Pelikans 100, 100N 400's and at least a superb chased Montblanc 124 and a Montblanc 138!!! Some serious stuff in a great collection!!
