True Writer Pen Collection - So Far

I think I'm going to go for Iroshizuku Kon Peki - one of my faves.

What a coincidence!  That's one of my favorite inks too!  

I just bought (another) backup bottle of Kon-peki at a stationery shop/bookstore/novelty shop, when I was doing some holiday shopping a few weeks ago.  Sometimes they have pens I want but when I was there before Christmas all they seemed to have in the case were some Pilot Metropolitans and I already have the colors/trim of those I like.  Although a couple of years ago I ran across a Peter Pauper Press/Jayne Moss Designs pen for $20 US + sales tax) and bought it because it was pretty AND came with a converter as well as a mini-size cartridge; and sometimes in the past they've carried Sheaffer inks as well as Iroshizuku inks.

Did most of the True Writer owners get the Levenger envelope in the mail? Mine is $50 of a purchase of $150. I’m not sure I’ll use it as I just spent a lot on a pen today.

In the mail today, same discount. Not me. I’m buying too much other stuff at the moment from many places. 😊😀😅. I have some rewards still left, but I’ll get some ink; I’ve been buying some Freeleaf and this new Circa item. Not buying anymore TWs and haven’t since the last Select group. 😍.

Have wanted to add some True Writers to my collection over the years and took a look at the website during the holiday sale period.  That worked out great and I've been back a few more times using assorted discounts and sales.  I've had nothing but great experiences with the several pens I have acquired over this short amount of time.  Some of the pens will have an acrylic that just explodes and will make you go "Wow!" while others are so-so.  At sale prices these are some very good bargains.  Full price?  Maybe not all of them.
