  1. I've been collecting Levenger True Writer (TW) pens, mostly FPs, since 1999, when they first were introduced. I've got 84 of them (some duplicates), comprising about 2/3 of what's been issued; the ones I didn't get either I didn't want or I missed their availability. I'd like to post photos of the collection. In this new Topic, I don't see the ability to post photos, as the "Post Options" on the right of this typing box (when typing) doesn't show the box for "Enable HTML," for some reason. I'm hoping that after this initial post, that box will appear so I can post photos. Even using the U
  2. It seems like I notice the True Writer pens in the Levenger catalog, and think oh I like that color. Then I forget about it. When the Sea Glass model went on sale, I didn't buy it. I didn't realize that it was being discontinued. Then I really wanted it. It took a year but I found a set of True Writer fountain pen and pencil in Sea Glass and got it. Flash forward to today. I had found the Bouquet version on the Levenger eBay outlet. I waited till the last minute to put in a bid. Not enough. I bid $5 higher and achieved high bidder status. Was trying to up my bid a few dollars more
  3. I'm not affiliated with Levenger. Here is my new True Writer Jave fountain pen. Along with a bottle of Forest ink, I spent enough to get a Levenger's $50 gift card. The deal lasts through May 28 (you have to spend $100). Because I love coffee, and am fond of brown ink, I had to get this pen.
  4. Levenger and their True Writer series presents a bit of a puzzle in their value proposition. On the one hand, I have a Kyoto True Writer, gotten for a cheap price on a deal, which is a wonderful pen: lovely writer, well balanced, and very pretty. So I thought about adding a stub nib to it, as a fun option. Visiting Levenger, I discovered that regular nib units run $30, not great but not horrible either. Stubs, however, cost double! That's about what I paid for the whole pen! And seems like a total ripoff. So what's the deal? Is there some justification for charging double the price for a
  5. Anyone have experience to share with the Levenger Cafe Au Lait pen, or one of the other Levenger pens with metal sections? I'm considering breaking my no-metal-sections rule just because I really think this pen is pretty, and right now the price is right. But I worry that the section will keep getting slippery and need to be wiped off all the time. I've never owned a pen with a metal section, so I don't know how much of an issue that generally is, or if some pens are worse than others.

    Hello From New Hampshire!

Hello, I'm Rico, from Hudson. I just got onto fountain Pens about 2 days ago. I've been thinking that I wanted to get a Fountain Pen lately then stumbled across the Burlington, MA. Paradise Pen store. I just looked around the first time knowing I would be in Burligton again. The next time, I looked to buy. I ended up buying a Vision Nature Rosewood Fountain Pen with a medium Iridium point from Online GmBh. http://www.paradisepen.com/ONLINE-Vision-Nature-Rosewood-Fountain-Pen-Medium-Point/PAAAIALHPBFMOMLF/Product I've been doing research online since. Last nite I found a Levenger True Wri
