I’m torn on the $50 off $150. I like the Buy one Get one on the TW pens. Any views on the $50 off would be appreciated. Right now, $150 seems like a high target since I’m now out to buy every True Writer fountain pen.

Did you see the HAUNT31 with 31% off and no minimum purchase?

Looking to buy a Delta Chatterley Stantuffo Fusion Star Cage.

I did not @Ceramicist  thank you.

I went ahead and ordered the Troublemaker Seaglass ink, with some other items I knew I wanted. I’m hoping it’s the perfect ink for that pen.

I do like the looks of the TW Bordeaux.

They do a nice Bordeaux. Mine in the TW Select is beautiful IMO. I bought the FP and RB back then.

@mge01park does it seem like the same material now as your Select models?

I figure if the Flourish Cranberry doesn’t show up, the Bordeaux would fill that gap.

Did anyone else receive the $50 off $150 in the mail?

I did, yes. Not sure whatvto spend it on, though. Unless it's to buy somethingnfrom the No Room For A- furniture line. I would definitely qualify, assuming the furniture is eligible for the discount.

@taimdala oh, the No Room for a Table furniture has always intrigued me. I once wrote down my dream library room. Some of those were part of my plan. That and the Levenger pen storage boxes. One can dream.

I bought a No Room For A Table with Drawers when it was half off over the summer. It came fully assembled and the dark cherry stain was beautiful. I am using them as endtables at either side of our couch. The drawers are great for storing the remotes and notepads and such.

I hope they have a sale on these again soon. I'd like another pair for the bedroom. It would be the perfect place to store my bedside notebooks and pens and books and lamp and ...

@Misfit I believe it’s exactly the same material and finish and TW distinction. Just larger and beautiful! 🤩

Why wouldn’t the flourish show up?

Yesterday, I used the $50 off coupon to purchase two of the new True Writer ballpoints.  I’ve now got enough points from that and other purchases to get $40 off in the future three times (in separate orders, of course, as I’ve explained).  Here are photos of some of the new ones I’ve recently gotten:

There are others I purchased this year so far, but I’ll stop here.  Levenger has taken particular patterns and varied the colors in those patterns to create new named pens.  It’s a completely understandable move, but I’m getting a bit "worn out” by the rapid proliferation of “new” but similar True Writers, and I long for more fountain pens in the TW line.  I guess the demand isn’t there, or that Levenger waits to find out which of its new True Writer BP and RB patterns/colors are most popular and then takes a chance on issuing a FP version later.  If it weren’t for the accumulation of points and the special coupons, I would not buy as many new True Writers as I have so far.

They're all lovely, but I really like the Green Grotto the best, I think.

@donnweinberg Nice new collection all really super nice. I’ve always bought BPs in the TW as I love the Monteverde Parker Gel refills in the Broad (3 colors), they’re awesome, which work in them as do the cheapie Pilot G-2 for the RBs, my favorite is the hard to find Navy in Bold. Refills are getting up there in price like a lot.

Another interesting refill option is made by Fisher Space Pen.  Their refills include an adaptor that fits on the rear of the refill and perfectly fits the Parker standard, working in any pen using that standard.  If one wants to write upside down or under water — like most of us do 🤭🤪 — then Fisher is the way to go.  Fisher offers multiple colors also.

I’ve tried like every refill and the Fisher is unbelievable but there’s no replacement to a good gel bold or broad for me, which is what I prefer to write with I guess similar to how you like to post with a very large font, we get used to certain things and I guess that’s how it goes. The Parker Gel (made by them) in medium, which comes in black and blue is decent. It’s not really a replacement for me, but I’ve used them through the years.

I hear you.  My favorite refill is the “900” (or is it 9000?) series, which has a very smooth flow that isn’t at all gummy like the traditional BP flow.  I also prefer a broad width. . . .I started using a 24-point font some time ago, when a couple of people commented that my earlier choice was too small or hard to read.  On my MacMini screen, the old font was easy to read, but for those using a smart phone screen or small laptop screen, it apparently wasn’t.

Don’t get me wrong, I love your posts. As to the refills, they’re both in existence they’re not bad either by the way for my own purposes.

@donnweinberg thank you for posting the photos, especially of the Green Grotto fountain pen. I was wondering about it. It’s one I’d consider getting.

Congratulations on accumulating all those loyalty points. You must be at the top rewards level.

I’m really liking to consider buying (they’re all nice 😃) two regular TWs for the first time in a while. The Classic Butterscotch and Twilight Storm and stuck with them in RB if I want them. At $85.50 each even with $50 off $150 which I didn’t get 😅, it’s still $121 plus tax or about $130, which isn’t acceptable for me. I have $20 in rewards which probably can’t be used if you’re using another code. I need a BOGO with a website discount or use my rewards. For the moment, I’ll pass. I did buy some nice Medium RB refills from Levenger in purple and red that I’m using in the vast # of TWs that I have. My favorite for RBs are the fiber tip in the broad from Levenger. I guess I’ll wait for Friday anyway for NFPD, although, there’s nothing I need.
