Aldi has good prices on pecans, possibly other nuts. Mushrooms are a bit cheaper too. Goat cheese is $1.99 for 4 ounces if you like it. And they have some good chocolate.

I’m a nut addict but organic so it can be difficult finding them and I prefer bulk bins to not have to buy too much so I’m relegated to Whole Foods and Sprouts primarily,

It’s good you know where to find them.

Today I’m filling the TW Chromatic with Diamine Pumpkin ink. It will be my pen of the day.

I haven’t had a PSL because they cost so much. I got an iced version at a convenience store that was pumpkin spice coffee. It was ok, not quite the other one. I did find a copycat Recipe for the version at Starbucks. Haven’t tried to make it though.

Yes, coffees are crazy. As it is, the large size container of Cafe Bustelo that we use is now $24.99!  I usually don't purchase coffees when I'm out and tend to only drink 1-2 cups in the morning at home. I buy Chobani Pumpkin Spice and use it in my morning coffee. It's a decent creamer as it's flavorful and only contains milk, cream, cane sugar, and natural flavors. Once fall is over, I will switch to Chobani Peppermint Mocha for the holidays and then back to plain half and half the rest of the year.

@MisfitI just looked at the recipe, which looks interesting. Thank you for posting it.

I’ll have to look for the Chobani creamers. I tend to drink coffee black. But a fun seasonal flavor could be very nice.

You are very welcome. It doesn’t use much of the canned pumpkin, so you either need to make a lot of lattes, or some cookie recipe that only uses a cup of pumpkin.

I haven't tried any of those, but I buy various flavors their regular yogurt when it's on sale.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

@Misfit Oooo...Diamine Pumpkin sounds...delicious.

I love that ink and been using it for years the best orange 🍊 🎃 anywhere. The only issue I’ve had which is known and harmless is that it cakes up after a while in the back of my nib in the feed.

I got the Chromatic filled up with Diamine Pumpkin ink, and it’s ready for the rest of Autumn fun.

Also, I would have to make a bunch of pumpkin lattes to use up a bottle of pumpkin flavored syrup! 😂

I've not tried Chobani yogurt. I usually eat plain Fage.

Maybe because of the canned pumpkin used to color it? 😂

😊😅😀 I’m getting ready to ink a few with the Diamine Pumpkin ink now. I need to get some Holiday spirit and start thinking about National Fountain Pen day on the 7th, although, I’ve only bought one pen ever on that day, it was in 2019 and was a special edition FC pen sold exclusively by Vanness with a matching ink. The pen was white and orange with orange ink.

Do any of you use other orange inks for 🎃? I’m thinking of experimenting with some orange inks I have and may add a little bit of black to them. I also have this Monteverde pumpkin cake that I’m taking a look at.

The white and orange pen sounds beautiful. Do you have a photo? I use Diamine Coral, which has an orange cast to the pinkish hued ink and Noodler's Apache Sunset. My Delta Mask is inked with the coral ink.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
