I hope your orders arrive quickly!

Wow. I would've loved to have a Fountain Pen Hospital catalog. Now, though, I can peruse all of the pen sites I want. So, are you a Floridian? I'm originally from Miami.

Yes, since 1980. Miami and I’m now in Broward County.

The TW Classic Shadow Pen is nice. I love gray. Unfortunately, I missed the BOGO which I would have rationalized it as a RB but at this point even with the 25% off I’m off it, as it’s not offered in a FP.

There have been some really cool looking True Writers that did not come as a fountain pen. I guess that saves us money.

I'd say much the same thing about some of the Retro 51 designs.  I've never understood why they don't do some of the really cool designs as fountain pens.

I got my two True Writers today. Photos will come later.

Congratulations. Levenger is shipping super fast lately and even USPS has sped up for me on several things in the last week. I wonder if it’s declining volumes from the tariffs? My stuff came via FedEx in 2 days or so. In the past they would use FedEx with a USPS last mile handoff which took a really long time and also messed up the tracking because there was no continuity.

Yay! Can't wait to see them! Mine are set to arrive tomorrow.

Mine went DHL with the last mile handoff and it's taken forever. I like the anticipation but this is a bit too much.

I’m sure they’ll arrive soon safe and sound. I don’t know how they figure this stuff out and how they ship stuff. I mean it seems to change quite a bit. I just know that FedEx is delivering in two shipments the things that I ordered this past week, one of them is coming today and the other one arrived like on Wednesday or Thursday, kind of shocking how fast it was and considering the free shipping. That last mile stuff was a nightmare because you would think you’re getting it, but it was actually FedEx handing it off to USPS at that point not you or us. 😃

Thanks for your optimism! I think they'll probably be here tomorrow. I ordered two inks from Vanness, and they arrived speedily. I can't wait to use them in my new pens. I can't say enough about Vanness' customer service.

I order from overseas quite frequently for my online shop, and sometimes, a shipment will arrive from France faster than a package takes to get here within the U.S.!

Vanness is excellent in all ways. They did raise their shipping minimum and they never really discount anything which lands me in other places a lot as I buy other pen brands regularly along with ink and paper items. At times, they have stuff that nobody else has.

If the pens did ship from Kentucky, then it was a shorter distance to me in the Kansas City metro area of Missouri. Kentucky shares a border with Missouri.

Vanness has the biggest range of ink brands of (I think) any store in the US.  And I was also able to get a Dark Dusk Safari SE with my choice of nib (beyond the "standard" ones available at most places for SE/LE pens).  Actually two, because I thought I'd lost the first one.  Which turned up a week or two ago in my living room when I was searching for something else (honestly, I thought I'd lost it at something I was at last spring, after showing it to a guy from the Buffalo, NY area who I found out quite by accident a few years ago that he is an FP guy...).

My brother is visiting, so I have only opened the one boxes to look at the pens. We like to look for geocaches, so spend the daylight hours doing that.

Thank you, I am and will. I just finished eating, after making lentil loaf, jaeger gravy and instant mashed potatoes. It was a lot of work, but leftovers will make it worth it. I usually make the gravy the day before. So it was a lot of work. I burned an inch size of my arm on the oven because I didn’t open the door wide enough. Stupid.
