I have both of the flourish too. They’re really nice and the gold plated nib helps them.

Nice! I'm so eager to get my two True Writers that I ordered a couple days ago.

I’m looking forward to seeing the ones I ordered too. The Chromatic and the Elements Air are the ones I bought in the buy one get one. They may not have shipped yet since I purchased them on a Friday.

@Ceramicist there is a red True Writer on eBay. It’s a classic red maybe, but it’s not the cranberry. Most of the True Writers in red have silver tone trim. That helps eliminate them from consideration more easily.

I purchased mine on Friday as well. I also ordered Taccia Tsuchi Golden Wheat for the Sapphire Mosaic and L'Artisan Pastellier Classique Vert Moyen Mousse for the Origins Anniversary from Vanness.

I have the Stipula Gladiator in red; I think that's my only red pen.

@Ceramicist I got the shipping notification. It showed DHL, but the tracking number looked like the USPS. I put it in the USPS app, and it showed the shipment at Hebron, Kentucky. Kentucky shares a small part of its border with my state. Exciting!

I have red pens, but no red True Writer. That’s why I’m being picky by wanted the Flourish Cranberry for the red True Writer.

I just received my shIpping notification today as well. The DHL shows Olive Branch, MS but the USPS number shows Hebron, Kentucky. I love the anticipation! I hope you find the Flourish Cranberry in time for the holidays!

I have the plain red with gold trim from several years ago. Haven’t opened it. It’s beautiful though and with discounts it was in the $40’s.

That’s great news. I had thought they were still shipping from Memphis, TN. I guess when they switched away from FedEx it all changed. This website has been super shaky since last night. TG it’s working again. Good luck on all your incoming stuff. The two Flourish are amazing as are the others.

Corrected

Olive Branch, MS, seems to be the place on all shipments including FedEx. I stand corrected.

Yes, I noticed the website has been down on and off.

Thank you for the luck! I'm looking forward to my new pens!

Anytime for pen lovers! 😂. Off Topic - but I was able to get the items I wanted (all non-FP) with the leaves25 discount and the justforyou free shipping over $50. Just made it to $50. 😊. I saved about $27 of which the shipping would have been $14.95.

Same! I like having to wait for things and not receiving them immediately. We live in such a world of instant gratification.

@Ceramicist so true. I remember mail order catalogs, and no tracking. There was no notice of the order being placed either, unless you called to place the order.

Yes! And not too long ago, there would be dozens of catalogs in the mailbox around the holidays but now that everything is online, there aren't as many.

The order I placed this morning, one of the items is coming from California direct ship to me off the Levenger order and the other items are coming the normal way and they’re all shipping via FedEx. I was surprised to see the tracking already and they’ve both been shipped just saying. 😀

For sure. The big thing in the old days was the Fountain Pen Hospital catalog, it was amazing. Goldspot has a good one though. The Levenger catalogs have been legendary throughout the years as my history with them 😊 going back to the 90’s when I would visit their warehouse hq’s outlet store weekly. Don’t get me started 😅. I knew all the staff and at times they would do an outlet sale which were amazing days.

Wow. I would've loved to have a Fountain Pen Hospital catalog. Now, though, I can peruse all of the pen sites I want. So, are you a Floridian? I'm originally from Miami.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
