Blocked Cross Pencil

Just posted on the nonFP writing implements forum about a potential replacement for this pencil. More immediately, it is blocked and so cant use it. When turned fully to the right it clicks, when fully turned to the left it wont hold the lead (falls out when you hold upright).

Any suggestions as to what may be wrong and how to resolve?

Could be a small bit of lead caught in the part that pushes the lead.

 

You can send it to Cross and they will either fix or replace. Cross has a lifetime warranty. Some fees apply.

Thanks for your advice. Phoned them this morning and then sent the pen off to them. Only cost is £6 handling charge (inc return postage)! So cant lose really.

I have a Cross pen and pencil set where the pencil also stopped working. I downloaded their repair form and marked the box that indicated the pencil had sentimental value (the set was my dad’s). Cross were unable to repair the pencil so they returned it to me along with a brand new one.
