mizgeorge! It's beautiful! The blue and white striations, modest cap ring and crisp finish of the clip and filial makes it look so attractive.I've never seen a pen this colour before. The ink match is a winner! I love the whole package.

I am writing with a black Pilot Custom Heritage 91 FM and with Aurora blue ink. The pen is comfortable - well-balanced, good proportion of length to width. The con-70 converter holds a generous amount of ink. The nib is extremely smooth, making for a pleasant writing experience. The pen is handsome but nondescript; the silver finish and minimal ornamention do not draw attention. Because the pen is not especially valuable I don't worry about dropping or losing it. I write on a variety of papers, including inexpensive notebook and printer paper, and in different levels of light. Unlike other pens, the Pilot does not feather even with relatively wet Aurora blue. The color shows clearly in low light. All in all, and for these reasons, I find the Pilot Custom Heritage 91 to be an excellent daily writer.

Well, it's not 2020 anymore, thank god.

 

Today was a light day, only using two pens. Always inked since I got it in spring of 2020 is my Conklin Mark Twain crescent in Peanut Butter with a Fine steel nib, using Conway Stewart Bodmin black ink. Great saturation, very dark black.

 

Second, my favorite pen, my Conway Stewart Belliver Borealis (No. 02/50) with a Medium 18ct gold nib, using Akkerman Parkpop purple ink.

I've got three coming back from the vet on Monday, so this weekend I'm writing hard and fast to empty out the three I currently have inked: a Visconti Van Gogh with R&K Alt-Goldgrün, an Opus 88 with Diamine Oxblood, and a Parker 21 Super Aerometric with Akkerman Vermeer's Kobaltblauw.

Kanilea Nui Nalo with Jowo steel #6 nib in M (incredibly nicely tuned by Hugh Scher) which is permanently inked with Iroshizuku Kon Peki. Really nice pen to use in longer sessions. Also because it takes 1000 turns to unscrew the cap, so putting the cap off/on a lot is a bit of a drag.

I can only use 54th in very fine nibs. But when I find a good match, it's an ink I really enjoy.

Red Beans and Rice is one that is on my list to try, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

 

Today, I am still going strong with my Lamy Studio Glacier in EF and a Lamy Blue cartridge.

 

EDIT: the Studio ran dry, so I finished what I was writing by dipping out of a bottle of Lamy Blue.

 

I cleaned and put away the Studio, and I am on to other things with a Blue-Black Pelikan M400, M, filled with Iroshizuku Kon-peki.

I enjoy using Red Beans and Rice - it's a nice subdued red with a bit of a brownish hint to it. I would definitely recommend it. 

 

Today I'm using a Kaweco Sport Cognac (Galen Leather edition) with a wonderful BB nib, eyedroppered with Iroshizuku Kon-Peki.
