Has any one had the opportunity to purchase the Petit Prince Sand of the Desert ink? If you have can you post a writing sample? I'm wondering how this brown compares to the Toffee Brown? Thank you!

Squishyink has posted a review and the brown in the photos looks gorgeous! The sheen is interesting too, having the look of a silver and green at the same time, while the ink has a beautiful reddish cast to the warm brown, yet dark, ink.

Oh, heck, see for yourself. I'm sure the pictures will describe it better than I can.

The photos of squinq's blog are very cool. I confess I was expecting a simple dark brown ink, however, the results look very interesting.

Pelikan Brilliant Brown is still the best one for me, with MB Toffee a close second. Love both of them and I see no reason to add the Sand ink.

Thanks for link.

Not into brown inks, as a rule, but this looks interesting!

Thanks, Tom, for the update on this ink. I have used Toffee Brown for years and I bought some Sand of the Desert cartridges last spring, but I have not tried them yet.
