A cross spire silver checkered with an 18k F nib. $65.

I also made a huge capacity squeeze converter for it out of an old ink cartridge and a #15 sac

Selling a boatload of restored, fairly rare, vintage Japanese gold nib pens, click here to see (more added as I finish restoring them)

I'm pretty new on this site and I just discovered this thread. After having read through most of it, I am ready to confess my addiction (and glad I'm not the only one).

Currently waiting for, in order of probable delivery:

Franklin-Christoph 1901 - been out of production for a little while so when they started up again I ordered one in Smoke and Cinnamaroon. Due tomorrow.

Moore Fingertip in blue, due 5/2.

6 vintage pens from a vendor, who hasn't given me a shipping notice yet:

Gold Starry (French), burgundy, c. 1950

Presto, dark burgundy bakelite, c. 1926

Reform 1745, green, c. 1980 (not vintage, but cheap)

Soma (French), burgundy, c. 1950

Stylomine 303, black, c. 1965

Waterman CF, black, c. 1965

2 pens from Birmingham Pen; no shipping notice yet but probably early next week:

Sixth Avenue in Pink, Medium nib

Knox Avicena in Gray, Fine nib

Kaweco Elegance, ordered from FPNibs, which I guess can take up to 90 days to get here?

Scriptorium Idyll, still about 9 months to go out of the year it takes.

I really need to take a break!

Indeed. My credit card is so hot that I just had a call from them to make sure all these transactions are legit. It was probably the European one that set them off...

A couple of months ago I was waiting for a Conway Stewart 570 in red. When it arrived, I was surprised, but very pleased, to find that it was the less common Pressac filler version...so now, I'm waiting on the another, and definitely a lever filler.

The newly released Moonman S3 in gorgeous green flecked acrylic just arrived.
There are some really excellent pens coming out of China these days!

That's a beautiful-looking pen, TruthPil. Is it a piston-filler? I'm curious to know how it writes.

Bonanza arrived today: the six vintage pens from the vendor who didn't send me a shipping notice, so I didn't know when to expect them, plus the Moore Fingertip (also vintage) a day early, and my first Franklin-Christoph, the model 19 (1901). So far I have only tried out the last two, the Moore and the Franklin-Christoph, and they both write like a dream. I am a happy person tonight. And I have most of tomorrow to play with my new toys.

Still waiting for three pens from my splurge. Two should arrive early next week.

Congratulations on your bonanza! I have wandered around on the F-C site many times but just couldn't justify the expense for another pen with a steel JoWo nib. I'm still chewing on the idea of getting a 45.

The Moonman S3 is a cartridge/converter pen, as are all Moonman pens it would seem. It uses Moonman's #5 nib which is only available in F or EF. The nibs are hit or miss, but usually very smooth. I got mine with an EF nib and it writes like a dream, perfect flow and smoothness with a western EF line.

I ordered a Noodler Nib Creeper this morning, this will be my first actual flex.

Also put in a request to return the Duragraph.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

I'm still a noob in FPs so I'm waiting for a Charcoal Safari F nib, a TWSBI GO Smoke, and a Jinhao X750 Silver. Trying to get a good array of brands to test out against my Platinum Plaisir!

Thanks for bringing the S3 to my attention. Nice looking pen. Like that Art Brown as well. Adding to my wish list ASAP!!

Waiting on a GvFC EF Tamitio with a spare B nib to complete a set of three with 6 nibs: EF, M, B and 1.1, 1.4, 1.8 stubs.

Also just ordered a Pilot 743 with FA nib and the 3 slit ebonite replacement feed from flexnibfactory to really pimp it out.

I'm hoping these will be my last pen purchases for a while, the wallet is really starting to strain

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
