Best Montblanc Boutique(S)?

We're trying a new tactic this year. Going in May before the hurricane season starts.

You DO know they’re forecasting a year as active as last year? And we’ve had storms outside the season lately thanks to global weirdness?

Hmm. Might be time to do a day trip to Orlando. Roughly four hours each way...or Atlanta a little over 6.

Never been in a boutique in my life.

I'm partial to the one in Hamburg on Wall Street.

It appears this boutique has been relocated.

Hard times don't last, but hard people do.

Thank a Veteran.

I lived thru a couple of hurricanes when I was stationed near Savannah, GA. I experienced three in one summer when I lived just east of Charleston, SC. So when I got moved to Colorado, I stayed. We don't have hurricanes, but we do seem to have a lot of wildland fires, and not much rain.

2004? That was the year the criss-cross paths across + tornado took out my childhood home with 3 trees punching through the roof & flooding. My mom died the next spring. I think losing the house the year after Dad was too much for her. They’d designed the house together two years into a 57 year marriage and kept it as home base through all four of his careers.

Excellent service, nib exchanges within 2 weeks- they install new nibs while you sip an espresso and watch, apparently pens/inks get released here before anywhere else, friendly staff, huge gorgeous boutique, etc.

My mom passed away in 2006.

She was married to my dad for 57 years.

I'm surprised by the similarity.

Plus as an added bonus you might run into Pravda and his mighty pens while sipping espresso.

Surely a reason to stop by en route to India next year.

Here’s to our parents who taught us what good marriages look like (and how to wield a fountain pen).

Yes, 2004. I was on an active duty assignment at The Citadel. Lived in north Mount Pleasant, off of SC41 close to the Wando River.

Cheers to a good life your parents had along with a great long marriage.

I'm sorry to know that 2006 was also a year of loss for you, as it was for Ghost Plane and for me.

That was a full dozen years ago, but the loss remains acute.

Our parents did pass along an interest in fountain pens, along with love and an example of steadfastness.

Reading of long marriages is inspiring, no?
