A PenBBS 456 Autumn Edition with Diamine November Rain

That's what I'm using today, too! Filled with Diamine Sepia, though.

Wing Sung 3001 (Pilot 78g clone) with a spare EF nib, with my mix of Noodler's Black, Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black, Diamine Prussian Blue and a little bit dishwashing soap for lubrication. Writes beautifully.

I happen to start my 308 today also , inked with Krishna Brown Pink , somehow I've managed to fit a custom grounded Jowo no.6 onto my Strawberry Ice ( with gold plated appointment ) and no issue with the cap

Unfortunately, a couple of my Wing Sung 3008 pens have developed leaks (and I have the oil-slick thumb to prove it!). These are being cleaned along with one other that, while it did not leak, got stained badly in the section.

I still enjoy using them and have one filled with 5280 Flamingo.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

That looks stunning.

I've got my Teal one today.

Hi Richard,

Hope you enjoy using yours, as much as I'm enjoying mine.

I've had that same problem with two of my WS 3008. Leaves ink on both the thumb and index finger. Have not had

that problem with either of my Lanbitou 3059. How have you resolved the leaking issue?

Not yet. They are still being cleaned of stubborn ink.

Moonman M600S...

I have a teal- and a brown one on their way. Quite curious how they compare in look and feel to the Parker Duofold Centennial. I have one of these, a MK I, like it quite a lot. Plan on using the M600S pens in the office, so I opted for the F nib.

What nib is yours? How does it write on 'cheaper' paper?

Hi Thymen,

I have a Jinhao Medium fitted in mine, which is how I bought it. It is a stiff nib, which writes smoothly on all the paper types I've used, from spiral bound notebooks to Tomoe River.

In the hand, to me, it feels very similar to the Parker Duofold Centenial Mk I (the blue pen in the photos), but it wouldn't be fair to compare the nibs. The Duofold nibs are amongst some of the best I have used.

I would hope that you would be favourably pleased with your M600S's. Obviously, let us know what you think.

I have a few Jinhao 159 and X750, some of which I have fitted with Jowo nibs from Fountain Pen Nibs. These Jowo nibs, once polished and optimized, are actually quite good.

Would these nibs fit in the Moonman too? I mean the entire nib unit, see below

size-6-unit-with-jowo-steel-nib-f-tip.jp

Of course I'll try the original nib first, but just in case it's nice to know there are alternative nib units available.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
