Hello everybody!

I have been consulting and reading pen reviews of this forum for some years. It is a pleasure to be part of this community and to be a member here in Brazil.
I believe that my grandfather is responsible for my love for the ink fountain pens. When I was a kid, I remember helping him do the cleaning and recharging them. All the care he had with his Parkers, Watermans, blue and black ink bottles ... In spite of my passion for analog tools, I forgot about fountain pens when I was growing up.
My return to the world of fountain pens was at first very practical and with specific purpose. I used them again to draw in the university.Then it was only a matter of time before I recalled my childhood experiences, my moments with my grandfather, the pleasure of writing with them.
I continue to use the ink fountain pens daily to write and draw, but now I am beginning to collect some examples that are much more than tools for the job - they are objects of design, engineering and art.
I have collected and used Montblanc, Omas, Aurora, Conid, Franklin Christoph, Sailor, Pilot, Lamy, Noodler's, TWSBI, etc.

You should try to add a Conway Stewart to your collection, they're great writers, especially with a custom ground nib.

What a difficult question to choose between them. It would be like choosing between members of a very well-balanced team, but ... I have some favorites. Some pens are always in the list of favorites and others have a more dynamic ranking and can enter the list. :D

Currently my favorites are the Montblanc 149 (1985 - with ebonite feed and 14k nib), Conid Bulkfiller Regular (took the place from my Visconti Homo Sapiens), Omas Paragon Arco Bronze and Franklin Christoph Model 19 (with a flex nib).

The acrylics from Conway Stewart are gorgeous and the pen designs are iconic! I hope someday to add one to my collection.

Yes! We still have some pens that are with my uncle.

I have one of them. A Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 from the 80's.

I really like the nib

In the last few months I have used the CONID Bulkfiller Regular daily at work!

It's a sturdy pen with impressive ink capacity for continuous use (as well as being very well designed for long write sessions)

      ...random aside - I still have some 30 rolls of unused, long-expired Kodachrome 64 film (35mm). They have been frozen since 2009. No idea why I have held on to them for this long, but I guess I'm hoping for a miracle. I too have never developed colour film but I still d&p my B&W to this day. As a passion, of course.
