Montblanc Antoine De Saint-Exupéry

Hi guys

Recently bought a bottle of the Montblanc 2017 Writers Edition Ink - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry at the airport.

It is a very interesting colour - with some calling it a Purpish-Brown, or a little Burgundy-leaning, to me, this is more of a dusty Reddish Brown, and that's how I am classifying it.

The ink bottle presentation is similar as per the UNICEF Turquoise. There is a small drawer that you can pull out, and it is at 60ml.

Review done using Montblanc UNICEF (that I had recently acquired with an OB) nib and the Ultra Black with a Fine nib.

Please enjoy!

I just placed my order for this and KWZ Pink-purple. This is the most expensive ink I've purchased and a very different color than I typically use but I think this will become a rotation ink.

Thanks for the review. I will place an order for this ink ~ I don't think it is currently available in our Boutiques.

Just recieved my jar of this color. Side by side it's really really close to Lavender Purple, maybe a tint lighter or softer... I don't know if its my jar, but I see no brown at all.

Will try to post picture.

Update: I take that back... Side by side it's more of a darker Burgundy red.. different papers different tints. Again, I don't see any tint of brown on Clairefontaine paper.

NIce review of a nice ink.

FWIW, the bottle is not only similar but actually the same as the one used for the UNICEF ink. Also, both are 50-ml bottles.

I bought 2 bottles of this ink, as I do most MB LE inks. I used it in 1 of my Pelikan pens. I totally love this ink & refilled my pen with it. This is unusual with me as I usually change colors. I was so impressed that I ordered 2 more bottles so that I never run out of this ink.

Does anyone also have the Shakespeare Red Velvet? How does it compare with the Antoine de Saint- Exupery ink?

Check out these two reviews, both by Visvamitra.

Shakespeare is red. Exupery is sort of a brownish pink, purple, burgundy.
