I made a first impressions on the pen on a previous post- https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/321467-my-new-fountain-pen/

After a month of using this pen on pages and pages of heavy usage, the pen is amazing! And i just love it.Here are some things that i love about the pen-1) it is a retractable pen

2) the nib performs amazing

3) nib is fine enough to use on cheap paper but wet enough to write smoothly

4) it is quite durable and feels a little hefty like im holding something but the balance is right on the center of the pen so if feels really light and nice to write with. Here are some things i dont like about the pen-1) it has such low ink capacity. The con 50 like lasts exactly for the day in school but i have to come back and refill it and then before going to school i have to refill it again. The cartridge holds more ink but i have to refill it everyday and it can last for 2 days but if i do forget to refill it the the pen starts to burp so when i retract the pen a big ink bubble pops which gets ink everywhere on the page. But i still use cartridges as it is better than the con502) i have to retract it gently or else it would start to nib creep.3) since i live in a hot place it does get quite slippery and i have to wipe it or else my handwriting will be sloppy.4) the con 50 gets stuck it the pen and takes a lot of effort to remove it so i stopped using it.Here are somethings to tell about the penToday i thought I'd take the pen out with me. So i took it but the pant pocket was too thick for the clip so i put ot in the pocket but was worried if it would get lost so i put it in the car and went out to a mall. Temperature was about 50 degrees celsius and the pen was definetly hot but when i clicked it no burping or anything lile that and it had half ink and it wrote just as it used to. The retractable feature is a life saver because after every use i retract the nib and it did fall twice but the nib is safe because it was retracted. Those was just some things how i felt about the pen. If you want to see the pictures you can see it from the link above.(too lazy to post the pictures of the current pen) Thank you and any suggestions or any advice or anything would be helpful.

I have also had a con-50 get stuck in my VP. I have older con-50's that did not have the extra metal part inside and ink would get stuck against the walls. I have been just refilling a cartridge which flows well in the pen. I also have some con-20 converters that I am going to try. They hold about the same as a cartridge.

Good luck!

50 is hot.

Yep it is but were used to it and it is common now that summers are coming.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
