It's a very nice pen but a little bit too fancy for my taste.

I still prefer the Heritage safety:

Thank you for posting the information and the photograph.

A deep crimson cap around the Montblanc star?

That will enhance this pen's appeal where I live.

The undulating serpent in the leather notebook is quite a piece of craftsmanship.

With Appreciation,

Tom K.

Very pretty, I want!

Actually, I knew of an another Heritage 1906 due for this year but I didn't think it'll be that one.

The concept of both Heritage series infused with Solitaire is really clever. Would like to see it in person though, it could either be cleverly done or very tacky.

Thanks for the news and photos. I have the coral version from last year and very content with it. I will need to see this person. Always fun to see new MB offerings.

Oh I'm on it :)

It turns out that it was a gaffe by Montblanc to release it so early, it has been since deleted from their Instagram feed. Will be available mid-June 2017. Now we wait

Yes, interesting this style.

Any news on price? I'm guessing an arm and a leg :)

I know nothing about the prices. Just the post on facebook.

I already have a Coral version (gift for my birthday last year ... ) and I think the next one will be a Bonheur, not this one despite the fact I think it's quite gorgeous ...

One pen roll, two pen rolls, three pen rolls ... So many pen rolls ! Do you want one ?

my tiny shop is open and you can have a closer look on my website to see my cotton (and sometimes silk) OOAK penrolls.

The rubies don't do it for me, but I quite like the sapphire/emerald, as well as the diamonds. Alas, neither are likely to come any closer than these pics. Sigh...

~ A curious case where serpents are for once desirable, yet elusive.

The opposite of the prevailing attitudes in certain areas of the globe.

How about those diamond stars?

They'd shine on an overcast night.
