Thanks to an FPN inky comrade I received a sample of this ink created by the members of a Chinese fountain pen forum. Or somehow available through that forum. They are creating new inks on a regular basis. I think this is an older one. Apparently they are difficult to obtain as much of our internet infrastructure isn't available in China. They have their own system there.

 

The images show the ink as being much more saturated than it really is. It's quite a desaturated color. You can see that in the ink droplet where there's much less ink on the paper towel than with many commercial brands. But it does have some water resistance which was a surprise.

Papers: MvL=Mohawk via Linen, TR=Tomoe River, Hij=Hammermill 28 lb inkjet, Rhodia=Rhodia 90g ivory.

It's one of their replications of Pantone colours of the year. I suppose we should see Greenery soon.
