I’m not quite sure what you mean. Montblanc produced these pens in this green celluloid in the 1950s. I serviced the pen my self and put a new cork on the piston

The first years, but it has a normal F nib no drama. OK for the office job, alas that became 99% digital and for fun it is a too boring nib. Since the celluloid is old stock, it became too risky to change the nib to a more adventurous one, there is no extra celluloid to create a new section in case it cracks during nib exchange. Keeping it as desk pen is no option, too high risk of drying ink.

So, once every 2 years it is taken for a ride.

Just arrived and is NOS, never been inked.

I did think about using some lukewarm water to gently wake it up, having sat in its box untouched for the best part of 50 years - but, in the end, I just inked it up (Parker Quink BlueBlack) and started using it. It writes perfectly.

The monotone B nib has a crisp, sharp definition and it's very suited to my writing style.

This pen is a long awaited replacement for a pen I sold years ago - and instantly regretted selling.

Didn't expect to find a NOS example, though. Delighted with it!
