Kwz Ink Raspberry

This is probably a new try for Konrad, cos this ink is very untypically KWZI. It's a mediumly saturated pink. Personally I'm not too fond of this somewhat pastel colour. I like my pinks vibrant. But the behaviour is perfect as other KWZ inks.

Looks GORGEOUS on your splash....

But yeah, is not a typical saturated ink from KWZi.... It needs a VERY wet pen and good paper to shine.

I still prefer it over other "neon" pinks out there...

This looks pretty. I'd have to see it compared to some of the other less saturated pinks on the market, like De Atramentis Apple Blossom and Diamine Flower Collection Carnation (both of which I like a lot) and J Herbin Rose Tendresse (which I thought I'd like, but which turned out to have a lavender undertone that I didn't care for).

Thanks for the review.

I am really enjoying this ink, it behaves well on my standard paper, Roaring Springs Environotes filler paper, and it dries quickly, which as a left hander is great to not see smeared letters as I write. I am using it in an Esterbrook J with a 3968 medium nib, and it flows with a medium wetness that keeps up with my writing pace. I am one to enjoy any shade of color, and find this to be a great ink to use if looking for one in this shade.

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Hmmm.... pastell or not, it's just not raspberry-ish enough for me. It looks like raspberrries are hard to duplicate. Jansen's is less pastell-ish but lacks the bluishness seen here....

Unlike Cyber6, I like the neonish pinks. (I do live in the City of Neon, so maybe it's a comfort thing?)

Thank you, LG for the great review.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I am with you Amber! Maybe we can ask (coerce) Konrad into making a vibrant neon pink for us. We can even call it Vegas Pink!

Let me guess, images like the one below are why I am not in the ink design business?

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
