Fake Montblanc Boheme, Right?

Was a very happy man when I left the fleamarket with a "Montblanc" at the price of a Safari ... but when I got home I found out there are so many fakes and after some reading here I'm 99.9% sure it's a fake. But damn do these counterfeit manufacturers put a lot of effort in convincing a greenhorn like me, it's got montblanc on the converter as well and on the section band it says montblanc boheme - germany. They even went through marking some signature and somo limited edition number on the cap! So I thought this might be a big find ... I had some doubt about the "irridium point paris" on the nib but then I saw the snow flake logo and thought if it's counterfeit they would go through all the trouble of engraving this ...

But still a nice looking pen ... if I could take it apart and clean it! I can´t take the section and nib out and when I tried to flush it with a bulb seringe it seems flogged and starts flowing water from the section ... so it's probably leaking as well if I can't fix it.

Here´s some pics, looking forward to your confirmation because I lost all hope of this being genuine ... :(

Hope these pictures serve as a warning to others if they ever run into one ...

I had no idea what a boheme looks like, MB´s never were part of my budget so I never had a closer look, lol :-) Now I have ... well, maybe the converter is usable, looks like international standard. Will make my most expensive converter ... :lticaptd: I guess this all makes part of the learning curve. I could also had spent a lot more on this so at least now I can laugh about it.

Definitely a fake Montblanc type pen, but nothing like a Boheme, and not much like a Starwalker. It's just a made up Chinese copy.

In fact it's more like the shape of the Fitzgerald copies, but not much like them either

I can't figure out from the pictures - does it by any chance read "iridium point Germany" on the nib, or something like that? Most fakes do. :D

Maybe most old fakes used to, but Chinese fakes have come a long way since they always had Iridium Point nibs. It's fair to say that all Montblanc look alike pens with nibs that say Iridium Point are fakes.

what I hate the most is that it seems to leak at the section and I can't even take it apart for repair otherwise it would make a decent looking pen, now I'm stuck with only an expensive converter ... if that works. What a piece of junk :(
