Nib Size For "collecting" Fountain Pen?

Hello, I just wanted to hear the community's opinion on preferd nib sizes for special/limited/collect fountain pens.

I personally chose Fine nib since, in my opinion, it's more flexible - can be used to take notes and signatures - but I've seen more people using medium nibs than a Fine nib so far.

I think it depends on the size of your writing. I prefer an F nib, actually I like an XF flex for the line variation. I don't usually even look at a pen with an M or B nib. I have a Pelican with a BB nib but that functions almost like a stub and I also have cursive italic nibs, again because of the line variation. It is just a matter of personal preference, use the nib that looks best with your handwriting or what you want your handwriting to look like.

Are you asking for the most salable nib in one of these pens?

Yes, please clarify your question. Default or most produced is M.

For personal use I like BB on 146 size pens and O3B on 149 size pens.

...special/limited/collect fountain pens...I've seen more people using medium nibs than a Fine nib so far.

According to my local boutique a few years ago, the bulk of limited and special edition pens destined for shop inventories have M nibs installed, with a small percentage of F nibs. Buyers who do not want the M nib must either hunt for a scarcer F nib pen or have the shop send a purchased pen to Montblanc service for a nib swap; many buyers won't bother.

Yes, I collect pens. Even limited editions foutain pens. But most of all, I use them, so I chose the nib depending on my writing and thinking about the ink in it, because a M nib allows more shading than the F with the ink, but it's the widest size I can write with ...

One pen roll, two pen rolls, three pen rolls ... So many pen rolls ! Do you want one ?

my tiny shop is open and you can have a closer look on my website to see my cotton (and sometimes silk) OOAK penrolls.
