This pilot pen looks a bit like a custom 845. Can you help identify this one?

nothing on the cap's center band?

if it is whats supposedly a discontinued Custom series pen then considering how Pilot has released their numbers from year of foundation looking at the nib's production date should indicate on what it is

it only says CUSTOM... different finish but maybe second generation custom?

Thank you Algester. It's indeed a discontinued Custom series pen with #10 nib. Different finish..Cap band says custom only.

it may just be the predecessor to the 74 introduced sometime in 1992 as the other numbers are kinda missing... so I would estimate sometime late 80s to early 90s

so if ever you can get a production date from the nib (typically pilot has them on the nib) you have a rough identification
