Mont Blanc Starwalker Ballpoint Pen Tip Not Coming Out

I bought a used Mont Blanc starwalker. The ballpoint pen tip is not coming out much.

Is it quite common problem for Mont Blanc pen?

How do I fix it?

Do you have a fine refill in the pen?

That's what it looks like to me.

the B refills are wonderful. I'd get one and try it out.

TAKE YOUR PEN TO A MONTBLANC BOUTIQUE.

I would suspect the authenticity of the pen.

+1 with Chrissy. I have a lot of the StarWalker ballpoints and just looked at 5 different ones in my collection. They have different tip sizes ranging from Fine-Broad ... BUT ... None of them have the issue you are having. This makes me wonder of the authenticity of the one you have. Is there a MB Boutique near you? Ask them to check it for you

Well, that's so because you don't have a Montblanc starwalker pen. You have an asian replica which doesn't take the original Montblanc refills.

If you like to write with your fake pen then try a Pelikan refill which were made in Asia as well …

He may have a fake Montblanc Starwalker, but if so the pictures show it's a black resin version not the rubber grid version. Granted the small length of refill sticking out denotes a fake black resin pen as well as a fake rubber grid pen, or indeed any other version.

Where are the visual clues in the photographs that tell us the pen is not a Montblanc?

Montblanc refills usually come out further. Pens and refills are all made to the same specifications, so this can't happen with an authentic ballpoint
