Uniball Air

My local stationer recommended and sold me this pen a few days back. The claims appear to be true. Really smooth writing and the liquid ink is permanent. However just like with FPs, the downside of this super smoothness is that the line definition is not as sharp as on the Vision Needle (UB-187) for example. Due to the liquid ink, the line on paper is not as glistening bright as the line made by the gel ink based Signo UM-100.

Have any of you used this pen, what is your opinion? Looking fwd to hearing your views.

RT-1 is not available here as well, only US sellers seem to be carrying it. Have you tried it?

got some from my trip to Hong Kong its good because they have the finer points available no where else found in the current signo line up found in my country (207; which is now discontinued and the cap type)

they are now loaded in my Zebra Sarasa body since I like the binder clip more..

Is that the UMN-155 0.38mm? I think CultPens in the UK carries it.

Yes, you are right, I seem to have missed their link in my initial search.

The ink takes a long time to dry on the paper that I use. I have to be careful not to smear it.

I agree, especially slow on coated papers. On normal papers it is fine, similar to normal FP ink.
