Congrats - getting a new pen is a lot of fun!

 

My first Fountain Pen was a Sheaffer 100 - with a medium nib. Sadly it is far toooo wet and broad for my tastes although with some Pelikan 4001 ink (a dry ink) it's usable for me. I like the feel of the pen - it's got a little heft to it and doesn't feel like a toy! I'd like to try a fine nib Sheaffer sometime - maybe the 300.

Nice pen. I had one of these with a fine nib that I enjoyed using until I dropped it to the floor nib down.
