Green - Jinhao

Jinhao is popular chinese FP brand. They offer also ink in cartridges in five colors: black, blue, brown, green and red. I must say these inks are really well behaved, saturated and rather nice.

I don't think that Jinhao produces their inks, they just label other manufacturer's inks. I lack knowledge to judge which ones? I would be interested to know, so if you happen to possess some knowledge / insight on chinese ink market, I'd love to hear it.

What's cool is the fact they sell mix of cartridges so that you can try few colors for less money. Also the price is really low (1 $ shipped), so you don't risk anything.

Green has nice flow and is well behaved in every way but I dislike the color.

Way back when (2014) I did a review the Jinhao Black and Blue Cartridges. See here. While the Black was pretty meh, the blue is a nice, well-behaved ink. The green seems to follow in the footsteps of the Blue.

Believe it or not, I do like that color!! I reminds me of something from my past--in my mother's kitchen. Does that come in a bottle??

Sadly no - only in cartridges. Iw ouldn't consider getting this one but their Red is really great and I would buy a bottle gladly.

I found that the blue was about the same price per ml as some of the inks at the cheaper end of the middle range, so I bought a whole lot and decanted them into a small bottle.

It's a pity the Red/Green/Brown aren't sold as separate colours, like the Blue and the Black.
