Unknown Vintage Pelikan

Few days ago, I acquired an unknown vintage Pelikan fountain pen. Now I don't know much about it (I have had hard times identifying since it has only "PELIKAN" and "GERMANY" engraved on the cap), but I am sure it is not a part of the famous M series. Furthermore, I believe that is a vintage since I can not find it any new Pelikan catalog.
The nib is silver in color, and it has engraved "585" and "14C" on it, but it misses the pelikan logo engraved on it (also, I am not sure if the nib is made of gold, or just gilded). It has a black body and a silver cap. The pelikan logo is engraved on the top of the cap. I believe it is never used.
If it helps in identifying its age, with this fountain pen I acquired a ball pen as well (basically the same model) and the mine of the BP is a Pelikan 137 M. They came in a set, so I guess they should have been produced in the same period.
Any feedback and information would be very much appreciated.

Agreed, a M21 Silvexa they produced it from 1973 on.

The cap is "strichmattiert", for me the main differentiator to the M20 Silvexa which was produced before.

 

And it's a part of the M family as it is a piston filler ;)

A cartridge filler is part of the P family.

That's a beautiful Silvexa with a 14C gold nib. Nice pen. Enjoy it. They are good writers.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.

      Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

      Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
