Uluru red and Barrier Reef Blue look amazing! Geeze, now I feel your pain of ordering ink from all the way in Australia. The shipping must kill you guys.

Thank you, Cyber6! I'm so excited.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Keep Kevin in business.

Buy the set of 5 for yourself, then one set each for your spouse/significant other/BFF/BMF/children/grandchildren, etc.

The Barrier Reef Blue is a luscious blue that, with different pens on different papers, gives you the colours of the Australian Barrier Reef.

Black Stump Black is the black of the charcoal on a burnt-out stump on a paddock west of Bourke.

Sydney Harbour Blue is the grey/blue of Sydney Harbour as seen from the Manly Ferry on a cold, overcast winter's day.

Daintree Green is the deep green of the leaves in the Daintree Rainforest in North Queensland.

Uluru Red is one of the many shades of Red that Uluru shows during the setting of the sun.

Hi,

As ever I am impressed by those who have by some art/magic have toiled to express a vast and varied continent in ink. Bravo!

Mostly I go for the surfing, but that's less than 1/10th of 1% mate.

There's more booty to be had beyond the black stump. It takes time to make the crucial relationship between the land and the people.

A great land and the people make it so.

Cheers

I have not purchased anything from JustWrite yet but I intend to - this range of inks are very well priced - they seem to carry pens in a price range to suit most - and they package their own products in environmentally friendly or re-usable packaging. To top top it off Blackstone is only an hour and bit drive from my house. While I was in the RAAF I built a place at Ripley which was about 5 minutes drive from Blackstone.

For those into sheening ink, barrier reef blue has a nice sheen.

On the one hand - cute little bottles.

On the other hand - value-for-money pouches.

On the gripping hand - concentrates where I can select my own concentration.

Decisions, decisions.

Extra brownie points for identifying the literary allusion above...

Wow. You'd pretty much 'have' to buy all 5. How could you choose between them?

I've gone with the 30ml smaller bottles set to see which of the 5 I like better. But future topups will be the pouches for me.

Congratulations on the new inks Kevin, I have been waiting for the line to come out.

Absolutely. In the New Year.

YES! BRB is beautiful (well, they all are) and I loved being able to mix to my preferred concentration/shade. Thanks, Kevin. Oh - two words: Blue Diamond! :D

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
