In fact, it's already been commented on when I was filling out some feedback at my daughter's school open day. The headmaster approved!

Wow a very beautiful pen with even better, a magnificent watch🤑🤑 I wish you very happy days, like the one you mentioned, which you can use them.

Thanks, I do enjoy my watches. The Speedmaster is a very nice part of my collection:

Congratulations!

Considering I also have both the blue M800 and Speedmaster, I'd say you have great taste. I may be biased, though. :D

Beautiful pen. I really like the blue striped pattern. I know nothing about watches though. Enjoy the pen!

Beautiful pen! The M800 is at the top of my list of pens to acquire... however, a watch like that is still a few years down the road. Wow! very nice.

Thanks, I'm afraid my pen collection comes second to my watch habit...

My new M800 with a fine nib. Very pleased so far...

This is a sign! I've been looking for a Pelikan M800 for a while. I too have an Omega Speedmaster Prof. I need to get one now.

Actually <yesterday> my new Red Tortoise 101 arrived (fine nib) from a very well-known personage out west, from whom I have previously bought another Pelikan. It is gorgeous and there <is> a tad of give in the nib, so although it is a (semi-) "nail" by Bo Bo's standards, there <is> some line variation available; but, by gosh, it is very smooth -- perhaps the smoothest fresh nib I have ever purchased? Thank you, Rick!

OK, Gordon, you impatient thing, you! :)

There looks like there is a scratch on the cap of the jade 101; but it is not so -- it is simply a mark in the celluloid. So there you have my three "specials"...take no notice of dust specks -- there are some on the pens.

I'm sorry that I am not much of a photographer of pens: the lighting is far-from-adequate, I know.

Wow! That is a fantastic trio of pens. Absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations.

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.
    • Ceilidh
Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
