Just ordered a Pelikan M600 Red and White 2023 SE in EF, my first purchase since last September.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

So I picked these out in a bit of a blind test, I dipped each nib and chose the two I liked best. First one being this Leslie & Harvey Co. Kansas City, MO “Bon Ton” with a replacement warranted nib.

I need to find that pen!

Yes, it is very nice looking. Is it the regular Targa or the "slim" one?

It's the "Classic" or larger size model not the slim one. So the body is 11mm where the slim is 8mm and would be too thin for me..

I’m finally able to post these, the original folder got lost in the ether and then I wasn’t able access the site.

Then I found this little BCHR Waterman’s 52 1/2 V . It’s less flashy than my red ripple, and the text and chasing are very prominent and the pen is very dark.

Last summer I bought a bunch of pens at a flea market. Two of them were NOS Reform (Lady?) (very) skinny pens. I would estimate them to be about 4-4.5 mm wide. Smaller than a regular #2 pencil. I was lucky though, one had a converter in it and the other had a package of very skinny cartridges. Given their extreme slenderness, I'm wonder who might be a market for that style/size fountain pen?

Also, although not a pen purchase, today's impulse buy was an ulra-sonic cleaner (seems to be NOS too) at the local 2nd hand store for $5.00. The money goes to the local food pantry so it's really a pleasure to support the organization that way.

Me, I’m that market. Sheaffer Fashions, Sailor Chalanas, Salz Peter Pans- I love them!

Old-style Pelikan M250 in black with EF nib. Hadn't intended to buy anything, but for £40 it was hard to ignore - so I didn't.

No the targa isn't faceted, it's a trick of the light in that picture.

Now I have to wait until October.   I just pre-ordered this, a collaboration of Onoto and FPUK:

FPUK X Onoto Scholar Ceramic - Racing Green - Luxury, Handcrafted, British Fountain Pens | Onoto  (USD price)

That matte green is a very nice and unusual colour. I like it.

Green is my favourite colour, but I will admit that the 'Northern Light' version is especially appealing (and tempting).

True. And then there is the Dark Cherry, too. Beautiful red.

The green pen looks the best to me also. And I'm rarely inclined in that direction.

I agree. And you really shouldn't have made me aware that of this pen. Arrggh.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
