Hougado Bocchan Blue

These are my favorite kinds of blues. Sky High is on the left, Bocchan Blue in the middle, and Shioya Blue on the right. These three inks are quite close, but they offer very subtle differences (which don't come across very well in this photo, unfortunately): Bocchan Blue has less green than Sky High and is more matte, less bright, than Shioya Blue. All three are (IMO) beautiful inks, but if you already have Shioya Blue, I'm not sure the expense of the Bocchan Blue is justifiable. I got my bottle of Bocchan Blue before trying out the Shioya Blue; if I hadn't, I think I'd be happy with the Kobe.

Thanks for posting this. With so many blue inks, I find that Sailor has a blue ink for every occasion.

Those are beautiful thank you for sharing. Did you try any of those next to the PPS? I may need to send you another sheet, you have some great blues.

I'll put the Kobe and the Bocchan Blue on there. After that, I think I'll be out of room!
