Greengold No 2 - Kwzi

visvamitra

Recommended Posts

As some of you may know Poland is one of biggest exporter of cosmetics, furniture and fruits. Chances are we'll get to be known as KWZ Ink country of origin :)

Hopefully more and more inkthusiasts know what the four letters - KWZI - mean. They mean good ink, saturated color. The fruit of the passion.

You can check Konrad's site here.

Greengold no 2 is lighter than greengold. It behaves well and the color is simply stunning.

Must... stop... reading... reviews.... :wallbash:

Sigh.

Seriously, though, thanks for the review. This is another one for the short list. My husband will not be pleased....

This is the perfect green, in my opinion - Thanks for the review!

Another gorgeous color from Konrad.

Currently, I'm using the heck out of turkus galusowy. Your reviews, however, prove that I spent far too little time at Konrad's table at Pen Show Poland.

Ethernautrix, thank you for introducing the world to Konrad!!!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Oh man, would I love to get my hands on this ink. I love this color. How can I buy some?

Just a heads up... If you are going after the Lamy Charged Green.. This ink matches the pen perfectly...

The new Lamy Charged Green ink is just too light (similar to the neon lime) to be actually useful.. :glare: :glare:

Yep, that's my response :)

I agree, a beautiful ink, plus visvamitra's reviews are amazing.

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film. Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
