Swisher Pens Swishmix True Rouge is now discontinued ink made by Noodler's for Swisher's Pen. The ink is simply indestructible (nor light nor water nor ammonia will do it any harm).

The flow is quite good and I must admit that I enjoyed using the sample that was kindly send to my by amazing Cyber6. C - you're awesome.

Thank you, Cyber6 and Vis for making this possible.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Can someone clue me in? I can see why someone might desire real permanence with a business blue or black ink. But a faded red like this? What could this be used for that might need permanence?

This looks a fair amount like De Atramentis Document Red. And yeah, I wasn't wild about that ink, either, color-wise.

The DeA inks have advantage of being really wet and improving the permanence of any other ink. So the DeA inks are great for mixing. The Swisher inks predate the DeA inks by more than a decade. Nathan has learned a lot since then.

Now, you made me wonder if this ink will survive mixing with some black. I have Tahitian Black (another Swisher mix)... maybe I should play some more... ;)

Part of the beauty of the Swishmix inks is that they were all compatible with each other, hence the name. One could mix the various colors with impunity.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

I have cough medicine that exhibits more saturation than this. Really don't like pale reds. Good review though. Thanks, Vis. Your reviews are always spot on.

Please post a review of your cough medicine. I would love to see it. I can't get Swishmix True Rouge any more.
