Suitability Of The Meisterstück 1 Pen Sleeve For The Montblanc 149

I am about to acquire a Montblanc 149 90 Years Anniversary fountain pen and would like to purchase the Montblanc Meisterstück 1 Pen Sleeve for it. Will the Montblanc 149 fit into this pen case, please?

I have a 146 and it barely squeezes into my 1 pen case, I'm amazed you can fit a 149! Does it loosen up with use?

Ah, that explains it. I was thinking of the leather case with the flap.

You did not need to stretch it out first? I literally cannot fit my 146 into this case without forcing it in.

Perhaps the guy who regulates nib width has a twin brother who handles pen case width?

Strange thing that you told me. Mine is perfect to fit the 149. Do you clip the pen in the front?

The Siena pen case or the zippered pen cases offer greater protection in my opinion.

I don't, but the problem is the cap, it's too wide at the cap band before even getting to the clip. But I can see that it should loosen up and then fit well.

I have the same pouch (the Sienna model, the one with the flap) and my 149's fit in effortlessly.
