Mb Mozart Real Or Fake?

Newbie here. Saw this on ebay, would appreciate your opinion...

I'd vote fake; couple of tell-tale signs:

- lack of gold ring at end of section

- odd-looking end of barrel

- main cap band looks off

Looks real to me.

 

The Mozart doesn't have a ring at the end of the section, and the odd looking end of barrel is because that ring is threaded for the cap to post (screw) on to. Unlike the 14x's, the last cap band on the Mozart is at the edge of the cap.

Hmm...I took another look at the Mozart and I think dneal is probably correct - you might be looking at the real deal.

The only reason I'm remotely familiar with the Mozart is that I spent a lot of time trying to decide between that an a Pelikan M300 (I went with the Pelikan).
