Writing an InCoWriMo letter with a Taccia Savanna and Scabiosa on Neenah Classic Laid Millstone paper ( I do not reccomend this paper. It bleeds too much with non iron gall inks. I prefer G. Lalo Verge De Fance laid paper. But this was cheap and I wanted to try something differnet so what the heck, it does have a cool color and texture. )

When I see these posts I am getting so depressed.....

And awed...

But don't stop, it's worth some depression...

00Photo: I like the letterhead on your Neenah Classic Laid - what is the design, and did you buy it or have it printed up? Very "rich" looking.

The letterhead is my design for a fictitious secret society of elite fountain pen illuminati called:

The Inkluminati. :D

I decided to go crazy for InCoWriMo this year :D

Great letterhead! Did you print them yourself or send the design off somewhere for that?

Oh boy, what a gorgeous pen, Holly!

Ink is Montblanc Burgundy.

You got me at "fattest nib ever", and as a result of this beauteous demonstration, I may or may not (okay, so I have) got a similar nib in a Chartres edition waiting for me to reach 200 days of uninterrupted labouring in the vineyard of learning the French language. Of course I had to make sure it worked first, before putting it away for a month (A month?! I'm mad) and Whoo, yes, it's a veritable paintbrush. I had thought to stub it, but really not sure I'll want to now.

Anyway, towards the extreme other end of the nib spectrum, I'm looking forward to taking the new Lamy for an extended run. I was going to be good and wait for a while, but when I saw TWD had it in stock it seemed my fingers ordered it before my brain could shake its finger at me and tut-tut. Oh dear.

Writing with a Pelikan M400 white tortoise today. It was purchased on eBay used and marked as having a broad nib. I'm not a huge fan of broad nibs but it was so cheap that I decided to get it anyways and maybe send it to a nibmeister down the road to turn it into a stub. To my shock and surprise the nib wasn't a broad at all. It was a stub! So now I'm even more thrilled. I took a close up picture to confirm my observations when I wrote with it.

SWEET!

If you think everything is going well... you obviously have no idea what is really going on!

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
