Hello,

I got this Waterman pen as a gift years ago and never used it. Days ago I purchased the refill in link below, but it did not fit. Can you please suggest a refill that will fit in the pen.

Refill (Did not fit): http://www.amazon.com/Waterman-Refill-Ballpoint-Medium-Point/dp/B00007JQQZ/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1416348414&sr=8-6&keywords=waterman+ballpoint

Photos attached as well.

Thanks in advance

Hi, I cannot name the model but fairly sure it has to use the Flair Titane which you will have great difficulty buying. They do appear on ebay but I would be very careful with those because they could have dried out.

Thanks. Do you know if these might fit: http://www.paradisepen.com/fine-pens/refills/cartier-must-ball-point-refill-black-medium-point-vxrb0211.html

The Flair Titan is approx 90mm to 92mm long x 3mm diameter, if the Cartier is close it could be worth a try.

The features put it at 3 3/4" which at 95mm it could well be suitable.

I had the same problem.

Perhaps the Cartier refills will fit, but they are a little bit expensive and not so popular as Parker or Cross.

I harvested a refill from my Cross BP not in use, removed the plastic knob, cut to the proper length and modified the refill end.

Here's my result.

You can see "A.T.CROSS" on the refill.

Unfortunately, this kind of refills do not work with some of my pens.

Cross refills are a little thicker than the original Waterman refills around the tip.

You had better check if your Cross refill will fit your pen before you make this modification.

Is that not an older Laureat ballpoint?

The part number on this refill is different to the one you listed before:

Might be worth a look?

I have searched my catalogues and may stand corrected but there was no BP in the Laureat range.

The refill you link is a Maxima which is for later Waterman models.

Here's my Laureat FP with matching ballpoint, if I can get the photo to upload.

The refill looks very similar so thought it might be an older model.

Think I've got it uploaded this time 😊

I suppose it's odd that the ballpoint isn't listed in the catalogues.

Sorry it is listed in some. Others just show the RB and some just the FP

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
