Happy Fountain Pen Day 2014! 20% Off All In-Stock Semi-Custom Fountain Pens

Carl Fisher - F3 Pens

Recommended Posts

In honor of 2014 Fountain Pen Day, we have marked down all of our in-stock semi-custom fountain pens by 20%! This is the biggest discount we have ever offered and prices are good through Sunday 11/9. Pricing is reflected on all in-stock items and no coupon code is necessary.

Our semi-custom pens are created with the same attention to detail as our full custom pieces but we are able to offer them at a lower price point by using commercially available front sections and metal hardware. Each body is handcrafted from a variety of unique materials including both domestic and exotic hardwoods, vintage plastics, distinctive cast objects, and much more.

A note about nibs; While our full custom pens use #6 sized nibs, all of our current semi-custom offerings use #5 sized steel nibs and will accept any of the JoWo nib sections for a small upgrade fee. Please contact me directly before purchasing to discuss nib choices.

Wow, some really beautiful fountain pens. The only thing, for me, is I don't like medium nibs.

If you ever include extra fine and stub options I would definitely be interested.

Again, beautiful work, Every success with your work.

I can swap the nib with no problem.

I default to a basic medium for testing and display, but I can swap in a JoWo nib in anything from EF, F, Medium, Broad, 1.1 and 1.4 italic in 2-tone or polished.

Add $25 to any of the pens you see listed which includes swapping the nib of choice along with testing and tuning.

I am interested in the burlwood fountain pen, but have 2 questions:

1. What is the size of the pen? length capped and section diameter only.

2. What is an upgraded Heritance #5 two-tone nib? Could the nib be instead a JoWo 1.1 italic stub? In other words, could the pen come with the 1.1 italic for the same $100.

Thanks,

plumon
