This might be a silly idea but would it be possible for you to be surfing on the Internet and then "by accident" come across the Mont Blanc site? Pull up different pens on the site and make some comments. Observe how he reacts and maybe let him scroll thru the site while you watch. It should become pretty clear by his reactions and your questioning as to which pen appeals to him most. Pens are very personal and tastes vary. This way you are most likely to get him a gift he has dreamed of as apparently he already got a dream wife for buying him a Mont Blanc.

I figured to go for a classic MB since it is his first one! I received it the other day & it is a beautiful pen. I can't wait for him to open it Thank you all again!
