New Starwalker "extreme"

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but I just bought one in St. Maarten and the pen is outstanding.

Now I bought a roller ball, not a fountain pen. The pen writes great, feels great in the fingers and best of all looks outstanding.

I love the new "flatter" top, the round one was boring after all these years. Kudos to MB for changing things around a little. I have seen other Starwalker pens, never likes the smooth surface, this one has grooves so the pen does not slip. I won't talk price, perhaps forum rules not to, I had the dealer in St. Maarten match the price on Amazon, so I saved on the price and no tax. I get free shipping anyway with Amazon prime.

In my business when I take applications in front of people they comment on my nice pens. I have been using a Tiffany 1837 roller ball, which they don't make any more, which gets lots of attention. Well, here is to another attention grabber.

Glad to hear that you're enjoying the pen! Different strokes for different folks, as they say. Personally I don't care for the flattened top.

"Extreme" sounds so... 1990s.

Not exactly "up-to-date" for the younger clientele.

-- Joel -- "I collect expensive and time-consuming hobbies."

INK (noun): A villainous compound of tannogallate of iron, gum-arabic and water,

chiefly used to facilitate the infection of idiocy and promote intellectual crime.

Glad to hear you like it! I'm still debating buying one. I've had one StarWalker, similar to the Extreme resin version but got rid of it because of no use and it was too heavy. I know the Extreme will be just as heavy but maybe I could use it for notes in class now because I like the thicker section, closer to a Legrand-sized section and the resin design can take more bumps and bruises without showing its age. Then again, that also means it isn't nice and shiny so it doesn't look as sophisticated, it looks more rugged. I hope you enjoy yours and that the comment-makers do too!

I keep thinking about selling some of my pens but all that happens is I keep acquiring more!

When I saw this origianlly, I thought it was disgusting. It is growing on me. However, it is not growing on me to the point of paying that much for it. Sorry, MB!
