Kaweco Student Review

This pen was sent to me by Kaweco for review purposes by Kaweco. They have been very patient with me. I plan to do a review on my blog in the near future with pictures, but my camera is busted and I can't afford to have it fixed. Honestly I was not expecting to like this pen, that is why I didn't pay for it myself. I was surprised, the weight of the pen made the nib write smoother than the Sport Classic in my opinion. Yes the pen is made of plastic but not the cheap stuff like on the Platinum Preppy. My version is the translucent blue with a Broad Nib. The barrel of the pen is the perfect length to accommodate two Standard International Cartridges; one in the section and one behind it. I do suggest getting their converter however, because my regular converter became lodged in the barrel. I think an Eyedropper Conversion would be possible with a proper O-Ring. I do not feel comfortable with Eyedropper Fill Pens. I think this pen would be worth the price, even if I had to pay for it. My number one knit pick about this pen is the fact that the nib looks a bit small in comparison with the rest of the pen, and that the cap does not post very deeply or evenly (sort of like a Noodler's Ahab). I would buy it, but seriously do not try and use a regular converter, it will be too wide for the barrel.
