Excellent! Let us know later how it works for you?

Well, it's better than I'd imagined. I can't add much to the video, but things I especially like:

-fit and finish is A1.

-single handed clasp action is very nice.

-the should strap pad curves around to include part of the bag, so no pinching.

-the strap is easy to adjust

-very light yet has a lot of space ( i got the small).

It doesn't have a flat bottom, so it doesn't stand on its own, but I guess Messengers aren't designed like that.

I haven't used it on the bike commute yet. Report pending.

Overall, I think this bag is a bargain.

I prefer backpacks for the long carry, heavy carry type days.

I do carry a small limited capacity messenger type bag most of the time. It's small to ensure I don't over load it. The design is much more convenient for frequent access. Keys, notepad, pen, iPad, phone, charging cables, wallet, passport, airline tickets, day timer. It's really just a manly purse.

I suggest neither. I use a Duluth Pack Haversack. It has the ease of use of a messenger bag, but it is small enough to be light enough that it does not cause significant stain. For files, I do use an old messenger bag to keep them dry and transport them, but that is just in and out of my car. If I go to a large city, I never take a backpack because I cannot secure it, and a messenger bag looks too much like a Laptop bag, and thus is to tempting a target for my comfort level, but the Haversack is nice and close to my body, and comfortably hold my Ipad, spare pens, cartridges, notebook, a small folio, a small bottle of ink, loupe, tape measure, small flashlight, cleaning cloth, and a small book. Even if I am not reading the book, it serves as good camouflage on Public Transport to avoid conversation and make me appear at least as a possible local, and thus a less likely target.

After using a messenger bag for about a year, I have returned to backpacks. I have to carry a lot of books to school with me usually, as well as drinks and lunch and sometimes a change of clothes for the gym.

A messenger bag is much better for carrying a lighter load, but for a heavier weight I feel a backpack is required for the better weight distribution over the body.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
