The winner for the Goulet Ink Drop has been chosen. I had 14 entries, put the list into random.org, and let it decide who would come up #1.

The winner is:

Themadstork

Thanks to everyone who entered for your interest in this PIF. Because of your enthusiasm, I'll probably do it again a few paychecks down the road. :)

PM sent Mezzie, I am so fortunate to win such an awesome PIF!

My PIF for the Burgundy Parker 51 is now closed. Wow that was one popular pen! I was overwhelmed by the number of entries and by all the wonderful messages I received from every continent; it has been fabulous to read them. So thank you to everybody for making this such a fun & thought-provoking PIF for me. In the end I received a total of 68 entries.

Using random.org, the winner of my P51 is:

WillT

Many congratulations to WillT. I will be in contact to arrange postage to you as soon as possible.

And I'll be offering another PIF on here very soon.

Some cartridges arrived today - thank you, Teacher Man! I would post a pic of my own, but my camera is hiding somewhere in the house and cannot be found ... Anyway, I thank you, my nameless Chinese fountain pens thank you, my Frankenplumix thanks you...

Good luck shone upon you, WillT. I actually have a Parker 45 coming to me, so I'm glad I didn't win the 51 (I would have felt bad), but I would have probably passed along the 45 if I had gotten it.

I've got a few financial requirements currently, but I've actually got a few things around to gift to people as soon as I have the spare cash to send them out. Nothing as awesome as a 51, but it's free, so what're ya gonna do?

Have fun and get inky, people!

New Pen Wrap PIF 3 in/2 out Wrap in Black Stewart Tartan, Second.

Another one which didn't turn out quite right but is still 100% serviceable to carry your pens!! :)

The selvedge is visible along the edge on the outside and the "2 out" pocket is a bit small, still big enough for 2 small pens eg Parker Jotter size and will easily take a single bigger pen.

Please PM me if interested saying why you'd like the wrap and where you live.

Students and new users will be given precedence. Recent winners of PIFs will not be considered.

Free postage Worldwide.

Giving this a bump!!

dbarron you are most welcome. I find them to be great writers. For a cheap pen you'd be hard pressed to find a better pen than a 78g.

Thank you for entering and for the writing sample. Your gratitude is obvious, and anyone thinking of a PIF can see how much these little gifts were appreciated.

A few months back I picked up two Jinhao 599's and find myself not using them frequently. Up for grabs is a red model with a medium nib. The pen is unused and will come with a handful of Poky ink cartridges (no converter). If you're interested please message me, I will conduct a random draw on May 16th. Contest is open to those in the CONUS only.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
