I just bought this after seing he had 95% positive feedback and immediately regreted it. Once it came in i realized it looked pretty close aside from it wasnt a screw top and had a convertor instead of being cartridge only as advertised. Also looking inside you can tell its brass and the weight felt off. Be sure if you are buying on ebay to have them send pictures of actual pen not factory photos. I have opened a case and am waiting for his response. I am only guessing but i would assume he will give me a false address to return it to or will just not sign for it and claim it was never received. Im not sure how ebay gets involved in this sort of thing

It's possible that you can file things with either ebay or Paypal reporting the item you purchased as misrepresented and counterfeit. I haven't done it on ebay before, but I have done a Paypal dispute before and escalated it, freezing the seller's account and forcing him to refund me. Try what you can, and see where it takes you. It might end with something utterly cathartic and glorious, with money in your bank account and permission to buy the biggest sledgehammer you can find, smash the counterfeit to bits outside your house, and document the entire thing.

There was actually an article in hot rod magazine last month about counterfeit car parts and it gave a long explanation of what to do with counterfeits. My first response was to open a case in ebay, Then i emailed Montblanc, I know they cant directly help me but the artical stated it could help in the effort to stop the counterfeiting. They responded quickly with a thank you and rep[orted they were forwarding all their info to their lawyers. Next i reported to IC3. Ebay is pretty good about taking care of this. I just received an email detailing the process. They say open a case in the resolution center, the seller has 1 week to respond. If the sellers response is not what i want i can escalate the case. once escalated their account is frozen and the case goes to live people to make a decision. and they can take the money out of his account.

You are in luck. That item number has been removed for some reason, so you will be able to get back your money immediately. The only thing is that you might not be able to leave feedback for the seller

I already left my feedback. Made sure it wasn't an attack but got the point across that he sells fakes and is not to be trusted

Not yet but i cant wait to get it back. Its pen money so i get to buy another pen. cant decide on what though perhaps a 400nn perhaps a 149.
