Happily I don't do ink reviews (yet) as I am too impatient for the meticulous cleaning that entails. And I don't have an ultrasonic cleaner - I guess I am not quite that serious yet. I like to use the pens, inks, and papers, and I actually enjoy the incidental unexpected result of not cleaning the pen too thoroughly. Additionally, this is a pen that has affected ink in the past. It is one of hisnibs cheap cloisonné pens, all brass innards, and I think if the ink sits for a while there is some chemical interaction. It bothered me with Quink blue-black, but not with the Diamine prussian blue - so far.

My favourite for a 'vintage' look in older pens. The only ink of which I've deliberately bought two bottles, one for home and one to refill at work!

Nice review. It reminds me of Waterman's Mysterious Blue. A little less green than that sometimes looks, but pretty close.

I have this ink too. I like it, but I find it by no means as green as Waterman's Blue-Black (IMO now unnecessarily renamed as described).

I have a bottle of this ink which works flawlessly with my sheaffer pfmII

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Diamine Prussian Blue is one of those inks that are quite special, it grew on me silently.

 

Presently it is containing my Pelikan m600. A very wet gusher of a pen that has taken to this

 

ink like fish to water. Love it.

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      There is still chemistry for processing regular chrome (positive) films like Kodak Ektachrome and Fuji Velvia, but Kodachrome was a completely different and multistep beast.

      Ah, but how to get it processed - that is the question. I believe that the last machine able to run K-14 (Kodachrome processing) ceased to operate some 15 or so years ago. Perhaps the film will be worth something as a curiosity in my estate sale when I die. 😺

      Take a lot of photos!   If the film has deteriorated or 'gone off' in any way, you can use that as a 'feature' to take 'arty' pictures - whether of landmarks, or people, or whatever.
