11 years on and I still haven't started on it.  Too many unused notebooks and too much tech are some of the answers.  The price has moved on to £40 + £8 VAT, so mine might be an investment!

I know that feeling!

If I were you I would take your AB journal on your next holiday, and perhaps use it to record your thoughts (in Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black, or in ESSRI).

Those (i-g) inks don’t have a great propensity to bleed, which may be important if other posts on this thread are anything to go-by.

About a year ago I bought a Smythson Panama.  Gilt-edged and watermarked thin pages, bookmark, large range of colours (sometimes there can be reductions on the more flamboyant colours and inane sayings), individually boxed.  Free P&P if memory serves.  A link HERE.  Not cheap but great quality and I didn't have any bleed through or show through using a Lamy 2000 OM nib with Waterman Havana ink.

Yes, I have been considering a purchase from Smythson myself - although their idiosyncratic sizing and (especially) their retail prices are anathema to those of us who have Yorkshire blood 😉
