Recommended Posts

Hi are there any other members from WA out there that can recommend a pen repairer in Perth as I am not keen to post a vintage pen overseas if I can find a repairer preferably in Perth & failing that Australia that is capable of looking at a problem I have with the filling mechanism?

Happy 2013 to all members.

Richard

Fountain pen repairs are difficult in Perth. Sharps in the CBD take pens for repair but as I understand it they outsource the work to Peter Ford in Melbourne. Mr Ford is a very good repairer and can be contacted direct through www.vintagepens.com.au.

For what it's worth I have sent many pens to the USA for repair and never had a problem. The people I use are well known on FPN and only an email away.

Good luck.

I understand that Peter has sold his business to a new owner so it's different now.

Best regards, Kai
