Ladies - How Do You Wear Your Mb?

LisaO

Recommended Posts

Okay men usually wear suits and can put their pens in their jacket pocket. But for us ladies we have to clip it on our blouse or shirt and for the beautiful stone(s) to show the pen needs to be against our skin - not easy access. I think of my MB's as my office jewelry and love them. I just got the Triubte to Mont Blank FP and absolutely love it. I guess I could clip it to the placard of my shirt...again, not easy access. Still love them!

You wear it how you want to love. Glad you are proud to show it off

Most people regardless of gender tend to carry their pens in their hand all with their pads.

The females I know tend to put their pens in their aha when they are moving from location to location.

I've never seen a woman clip a pen to a shirt. It's not exactly lady like behaviour. To that matter it's not exactly gentlemen behaviour to do it either,

When you get to a certain level you can behave how you want... :roflmho:

I HAD to attend a meeting once, and believe me I tried to get out of it, and it was stressed that ties must be worn by all men attending without exception. Knowing that soon all this meeting nonsense would be a thing of the past for me I did wear a tie and nothing else, ok boxer shorts and shoes, it caused a stir but to his credit the chairman of the meeting carried on without reference to my stunt. Tea break time, no coffee here, was interesting as was geting back to my car.

If you cant have a laugh its just a job.

Their what?? :D

On a serous note, most businesswomen I have met tend to either have the pen in a pen loop on their organiser or in a pen case.

I carry my pens in Baggalllni bags, which have pen loops, inside.

Also, the space given for cellphone is suddenly too small with new larger phone sizes, so that allows for a pen case..

However, Baggallini is not a high-end office look, and you're looking for an idea to "wear" your pen.. Ladies suit pockets, if there are any at all, are too low. Do you wear a belt? You might consider having a high end belt with thin, but secure pen holder, made to your specifications.

For everyday usage, have clipped a pen to blouse or sweater, but definitely not to a meeting.

Interesting that more men than women have replied to this question.

In my working career in office environments I wore mostly oxford style shirts with pockets and always carried my pen in my breast pocket. I would clip it to the far left side of the pocket so that it was less noticable. Around the area I live nobody pays any attention to what you have in your pockets. So few people even care about what pen you use. I also tried to buy slacks with deep pockets for those times when having a breat pocket pen didn't seem appropriate. Deep pockets keep pens from sliding out when seated. Purse, planner, or portfolio also make good places to carry pens for women, but it doesn't allow them to be shown off. Sometimes, it is better to keep a low profile.

Wonderful. I'd love one of these in black.

Uh oh; looks like I'm in big trouble as I've been known to clip three Bohemes to my shirt

I always carry a pen case to meetings. I have a 1, 2, or 3 pen case dependinb on what i have in rotation that particular week. My favorite case is a two pen camel colored leather Montblanc. It fits even two large pens...say a 149 and a Mann.

I suspect the aha reference was code for bra. I frequently clip my earring to my bra when talking on the phone. I wear clip earrings and by keeping an earring there temporarily I never lose track of it. It is not visible to anyone else.

I have never carried my pens that way, however. Most of the time, I have my handbag with me, and it contains a purse organizer with an integrated pen loop, so I store my everyday pen there. If I am in an office setting, my pen du jour would be traveling in a single sleeve leather pen case. I would never clip it onto a writing pad for fear of loss or damage.
