Mead Notebook

Hello all, first post here.

I was wondering if any of you have ever used a particular Mead notebook that I've never seen anywhere else, not even online. It's got heavy cardboard covers, heavier than the staples bagasse notebook, double wire bound, 100 sheets college ruled, 10.5 x 8 in, and the one I have handles fountain pens great – there's less see-through (is that what it's called?) than the staples bagasse comp book I also have. I just wanted to know if I'm crazy or if anyone in the entire world has seen another of these (and even better, where to buy more...)

I'll try to get my hands on a camera for pictures.

Thanks!

You know, I have a vague memory of those! I did not buy it and now I wish I had! I have a wide variety of pens, from fountain to ballpoint, and I am on the hunt for a school notebook that works nice with all of them. Also I need to find some nice lined loose leaf paper. If anyone knows, please message me or respond. Haha, but to the original thought, No you are not crazy, as I am writing this that notebook is more and more familiar. My first post too!

Good Luck

They were available in large quantities at Staples this year as a "back-to-school" promotional item for 99 cents. I bought a dozen and should have picked up more. Great paper for fountain pen ink.

For the past several years, I have kept a Mead Cambridge notebook on my desk for note taking and doodeling. The paper has been quite fountain pen friendly and well behved. That has unfortunatly changes with my current notebook, in which much the paper is prone to feathering, bleedthrough, and just plain poor quality. I can only hope this is an exception, and not the new normal...
